I had a shooting board I made from scraps, I wanted something nicer and came across this site inthewoodshop.com. This guy has great ideas for shooting boards. I made mine from Pecan, with a walnut fence and pecan adjustment knob.

Nice shooting board. I’ve been meaning to make a ramped one. Now I know where to go for the ideas. The link you provided. Hope it doesn’t upstage your post but be forewarned.
