This is another set of cutting boards that a few of my co-workers wanted. They are made out of a combination of maple, walnut, purple heart and cherry. All are finished with a beeswax/mineral oil mixture (thanks to all the LJ’s that posted their mixtures). The first one is 18×18, the next 2 are 12×12 and the final one was 10×22 (it was to also serve as a serving tray). The angled pieces were very easy to put in. I am concerned as to how that will hold up over time. Being that the pieces are pretty thin, I hope they do not cause the joints to split.
On a side note, I keep getting more and more interest to build things for co-workers. This may help bring in some extra cash over the next few years.
