Wine Cork Trivets

These started as a way to use up the wine corks we have been saving over the years. The frames are from Cherry cut offs I had laying around (always keep your cutoffs) with 1/8” thin mahogany stock I had on hand for the backer. I set the backer in a 1/4” deep rabbit using the router and adhered them with epoxy. After that had set we flipped them over and flooded the inside with epoxy and set in the corks.

Cool trivets! Creative use of corks and like the way you arranged them. Great job!
