My first project on my bandsaw and then it broke :( This heart box is made from Eastern Red Cedar and walnut. My saw was too old to find parts to fix. Finally got a new to me one, but now I can’t keep the blade on… The trials and tribulations of a new woodworker…

A wonderful first band saw box.

This might help with your band saw problem.

Thank you Jim! My bandsaw is not that fancy, but I’m going to go down to my shop and see if I can’t fix it. Also, Charles, can you tell me how you got your website to come up as a link instead of how I have it in my signature. Thanks

Dana, that is lovely. I have been making boxes but have not yet tried the bandsaw version even though I have a book of ideas and a bandsaw. Maybe when the weather gets warmer!!!

Super great box especially for the first in spite of saw troubles. Hope the like above will help with your problems. Read lots of band saw forums and mot likely you will be up and running strong soon.

That is really cool. Really nice. Love the compartments in it. If you dont mind me asking, what kind of bandsaw do you have?

That’s a lovely box! I love the natural color of the wood, the finish complements well. Well done.

Beautiful box! Hard to believe it’s your first. Very pretty wood combo, cool shape and great finish. Great job!
