Another project for my wall cleat system. This plan came from Wood Magazine’s Idea Shop #5. It is made from 1/2” plywood for the sides and dividers, 1/4” plywood for the bottom, and 3/4” hardwood for the front and back. The plan called for 1/2” front and back and 3/4” dowel. I used a 9/16” dowel, as I had one laying around the shop.

This is all part of my master plan to get organized, get stuff off my bench tops, and exploit all the space on my tall walls.

Next up, the hardware storage cabinet.

Thanks for reading.

Nicely done. Shop #5 is my favorite one. I have all the multi-part-plan issues on my book shelf. Maybe I’d better take them out again. I have the same needs as you.

Love it. You just need a pump or spray bottle of water for glue leak clean up. You should do an overview of your system for us. I’d like to see how it comes out in TOTO.

Hey everyone, thanks for the compliments. This was very easy and quick project. Only took one morning to build. The plans can be found as part of Wood Magazine’s Idea shop 5. Here is where you can buy it online:

I will be adding some more blog entries and projects over time as I complete them.
