My daughter wanted a display case for my son-in-laws antique Coke Bottle collection so she didn’t have to dust them all the time. This is what I came up with. It is made of Ash and the miter slots have black walnut glass is 5mm. I found an article in about the incredible L fence in Fine Woodworking annual issue and used it to make the mitered corners, work real slick. Built a modified miter slot jig found in a ShopNotes issue to make the slots in the main case.

Nice looking case ToughCut..I like how the cathedral grain in the back of the case accents the shape of the bottles. Will have to have a closer look at that L fence. Bet the daughter thanked you.
Cheers, Thinkerf

Great looking display case! Like the beautiful wood and great joints. I’m sure they like it. Great job!
