My son wanted an Ammo Box/Chest for Christmas and was spending some time at home. So what better way to spend some Father/Son time together than to give him the wood for Christmas and work on his first woodworking project together. Looks pretty simple now. We made it out of African Mahogany and left it unfinished, He, being the artist in the family, is taking it back to Clemson with him to finish it with a wood burning and tung oil. He is also replace the lid rope with a chain but wants to keep the rope side handles. Can’t wait to see it finished next time he comes home.
