Here are a few pens that I have turned. Starting my Christmas turning early so I’m not so stressed later.
The first one is Rowan for my wife’s friend who is an avid fantasy reader. Rowan is used for protection and is supposed to have healing properties.
The second I turned for my wife. It is Bee’s Wing Narra.
The third I made from Black Ash Burl. Its homeless at the moment, but not for long.

The pens look great. And yes getting a start early will make the workshop time last longer.

Thanks all for the kind words. The display is from a olive log that was spared from going to the dump. The colors on the underside are incredible.
