My first band saw boxes . Made five of these boxes for my daughters and nieces for christmas . When my daughter saw them she said they looked like elephants facing each other .Four of the boxes are made out of walnut and base is zebra wood. One box is walnut and maple with zebrawood base handles are all zebrawood . Finish is two coats of bush oil .Box draws are lined with red flock stuff was pretty easy to put on . Boxes were alot of fun to make just took alot longer then I thought lots of hand sanding .

Elephants. Nice work I really like it, but boxes are like potato chips you can’t have just one. Any plans on making additional boxes like Zebras, Giraffes, Hippos, Cheetahs?

When I first looked straight on, I saw two ant eaters. Very nice design and a great looking box

Nice work on the cut outs / band sawing. I like using a small piece of felt on the underside of the draw to even out the spacing of the draw, very eye appealing.

Have your say...
