Kid-size vintage tool tote

I did these kid-sized tool totes for a buddy at work, as gifts from him to his grand kids. He gave the kids some markers, let them draw designs on the boxes, and then “helped” them paint them up. They were a big hit, and that’s what matters in the end. I used 1” by 4” pine, and 3/4” dowel for a handle.

It’s amazing how much something like these can be such a big hit for the kids. They will have memories of their tool boxes for ages. I love the simplicity of the design and the materials used. Thanks for sharing!
