In October while we were in Myrtle Beach I got a text from my wife and sister – in – law who were out shopping. The text had a picture of a table they saw at a store and they were sure I could I make my sister – in – law one for Christmas.

The picture they sent is the 3rd one attached to this project entry (the one without the Christmas tree).

I made the top and bottom shelf of strapping I had laying around forever (left over from the shop build actually). Everything else came out of the scrap bins.

I think I got the angle of the legs wrong. I cut them at 22 1/2 degrees and now think it would have been better at around 15 … but all in all it came out fine.

Great looking side table! Like the design, very well executed. I’m sure she likes it.

Have your say...
