These are Adirondack chairs taken from Popular Mechanics that I made from Western Red Cedar. I made these for my brother’s family for Christmas this past year. There are 2 full size chairs for 2 adults, 2 at 75% scale for 2 Tweens, and 2 50% scale for a 1 and 3 year old. I finished them with Cabots Mason Red semi transparent oil stain. I had the advantage of programming all of the machining in Mastercam. I glued up blanks for each chair using West Marine epoxy and running everything on a CNC router. The only thing that I would do differently from the plans is us stainless steel carriage bolts for the frame construction and plug all of the horizontal holes.
