The wife asked me if I could produce a nice coat rack for the Grandkids. Something nice, but not tall like our other one. so here He is.. carved the little boy on top from the oak, just added the arms.
It’s 54” high made from oak, with a through wedged tenon holding the rack post to the feet.
have not finished the rack yet as wife is still deciding what she wants, and with it being right in the
middle of the winter, we are using it daily.. most likely wont see stain till spring..haha.. thanks for looking… Papa

Very cool idea and a pleasant change from the usual clothes tree [like the ones I make which tend to be bland]. Great idea for the top of the tree.

-- I cut it three times and it's still too short!!

I really like the little guy on top. Makes for a fun piece. Your family will be enjoying this for a long time to come.

Pretty nice idea with the little man on top, the grandchildren must be very happy with it.

thanks for the kind words.. the grandkids love the little guy, spending each trip through the door as another chance to see if they can throw thier hats and see if the little man can catch them… papa
