Entry bench made over the summer. Its been awhile since I uploaded new projects so there will be several loaded tonight. This is the entry bench the wife wanted for taking your shoes off when the kids come in the front door. The top is a live edge maple slab. The cross piece between the legs is spalted maple. The legs are Sapele, and the pegs in the top were turned by my wife out of purple heart , glued and driven down thru the legs to join the top to the legs. The finish is 1/3 linseed oil, 1/3 semi gloss helsman varnish, 1/3 mineral spirits, applied and sanded into the wood (4coats) to 600 grit. Came out pretty good.

Great job. Like it a lot.

I just figured out that was the way I took it with my tablet. Looked fine on the screen but when down loaded thats the way it came out. Damn technology.
