I made this tea light holder for a friend I served in the Air Force with many years ago. It’s made from a piece of oak I reclaimed from an old barn in King, NC, and which has some pretty nice ray fleck characteristics. The two strips of inlay are lacewood and the feet are mahogany. The finish is linseed oil and a few coats of paste wax.

Very nice.

I like the choice of blue glass.
