This is my version of a torsion box assembly table, I incorporated in full extension ball bearing sliding drawer that hold my Festool sustainers.

I used 3/4” Trupan MDF for my torsion box, Trupan is 30% lighter than regular MDF from your big box stores. The carcass is made from 3/4” Baltic Birch ply and all the edge banding is Walnut. I also have a torsion box bottom to help hold the heavy load from all the weight.

Hope enjoy!

Now I know what I need to build next. Great job, love how you made all your systainers fit and with slide outs.

What they said Lance…...really fine work. You’re shop is really shaping up nicely. A little TOO clean tho!

BTW – I noticed the casters, I have those on my workbench and router table. They are super nice but really spendy! I got mine free, otherwise I’m too cheap…....

-- Jeff - I have not failed. I've just found 10,002 ways that won't work.

I got mine from Woodcraft, there made by a couple different companies now, not the cheapest casters either.

Really nice assembly table, not to mention a great place to store those tools
