Her are the Table and Chairs My Daughter and I built for my Grandaughter, it was a one page plan I found 9 years ago and I built 2 for my youngest, She wouldn’t give them up (still uses them) so I said we have to make more + a table for her niece.
Plans called for maple but couldn’t see the little one tearing up good maple, We used cheap furring stips planed and sanded, the tops were made from clear pine.
All joints are mortise & tenion, the tops are doweled, the heart is purpleheart inlayed with a turn lock kit.
the heart is there because of an accident doweling!

Looks like it turned out very nice. What were the basic overall dimensions for the table and chairs?

Table Top 20 X 26 , 21 1/4 table legs
Chair top 12 3/8 X 13 , 12 1/4 high seat
I have a copy, It was a free plan from the net so I think I can take a pic and post it, I don’t know.
For a free basically 1 page drawing it was one of the most enjoable projects I have made! Being a drawing there are no step by step instructions, you have to think out every step, not difficult but rewarding! Here is a pic of the drawing.

Great project. Have you been invited for tea yet? The heart inlay is a precious touch. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice, I like the way you turned your mistake into a very nice feature of the table.
