This is a walnut bowl that I turned.
Turning is new to me this year and I really like it.
I understand why they say it is addicting.
I finished it with 4 coats of spray lacquer, sanding between each coat with 400 grit paper.

you know any tricks for getting wood to shine, and glow, without using laquer, oil, varnish, oil, or any other products? i am trying to make kitchen utensils, that are 100% natural wood. i have been making my own polish with sesame oil, and beeswax, but i really want to make them shine without it.

Awesome chunk of wood! The grain pattern is really cool. Nice job on the turning as well!
