I’m working at getting better with my inlay, but a terrific artist named Stephen Hatcher is far far better than me. His work is absolutely incredible. Goggle Stephen Hatcher or go straight to his site: http://www.e-z.net/~summitweb/. Unter the heading ‘Technique’ he lists an article called “Stone Inlay in Woodturning” that outlines his inlay technique which is where I learned.

Thanx for the link Robert, it contains a wealth of info. I never thought you could actually “sand” stone inlay into something so beautiful. One of these days I might have to try that!
