Project Information

My wife actually is the artist here. She patiently allows me to spend countless hours in the woodshop, then beautifully finishes whatever I bring her.

This time it is her project. Oh I cut the shapes, but she planned and created these great Santas. Cut out with band saw, edges sanded with a belt sander, these were given to some relatives and special friends.

I thought it would be a great way to wish all of you a Happy Holiday and GREAT 2014!

Looks like a nice choir. Nicely done, with the woodworking part and the painting part.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Great idea these, collaborative projects are always nice and these are really well done. They remind me of those Russian Nesting Dolls.

Best Wishes for a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous 2014!

Wonderful! How tall are, say, the tallest ones in the back row?

TJ… The tallest ones are 12" tall… all the bright red tall ones are the same size, I elevated the ones on the top row for the photo. There are 4 different sizes. She had never attempted anything like this before and the painting took a long time. I'm proud of her for taking it on. There were 40 Santas in all.

Some great hand painting by the wife. Wish I had steady hands for that. And of course your great assist on cutting the Santas. Have a Happy New Year.
