Going through the archives on my photobucket site, and found this. It was my first scrollsaw project, back in ‘02. The pattern was published in Scrollsaw Workshop originally, though I found it online as a pdf file. Very intricate, and literally my first major scrolling portrait. At the time I didn’t realize just how imuch cutting was involved, I just saw the pattern, wanted to do it, and went to town.
Still needs a frame to this day, but that’ll happen once I finish my shop…

Thanks. the LOML is a volunteer firefighter, so this one really needs to be framed and hung in the living room one of these days. She knew several of the men lost that day.
