Key holder with a twist

This Key Holder is made of Oak with oak bead board. It’s “hooks” are rare earth magnets counter sunk into the oak.
It has a drawer for seldom used keys or garage door remote.
The front swings away to exposed a compartment that could be used to hand or store seldom used keys or other small “items”.
The item I chose to put there is held by a rubber coated magnet specifically designed for pistols.
The compartment is about 1 3/8th’s deep.

Neat idea… nice to have something “handy” if you ever hafta answer the door late at night!

I love it! Where do you find rubber coated magnets designed for pistols? I love the whole idea. I’ve been trying to figure a safe and yet easy way to build a ‘slick’ for my 1911 for the house.

I think it is a good idea but…I am sure you have thought of this but I am going to say it anyway. I hope you have a way of childproofing it. Those little rascals can get on a chair and reach that gun.
