Dowelling accessories storage

I had gotten fed up with having my dowelling accessories scattered all over my shop, so I made this box to store the stuff. It holds the bits, the marking plugs, 3 types of jigs, and 3 different sizes of purchased dowels. The box is very heavy, as I made it from 3/4” plywood, which is glued and stapled. Since it’s a “shop-only” item, I skipped a fancy finish. I only regret not making it slightly larger, so I could add more dowels . I seem to run out too often. Thanks for looking, and I hope you enjoy this!

Very nicely done—I’m sure it will help keep things organized in your shop.

Nice, I like the idea of the dedicted tool box to keep stuff in order. Doesn’t always work for me, but I try!

But how ya gonna fit the marples 148 dowel jig into it? If yer into dowelling, the M148 is the best!

And where are yer dowel locating pins??? Dowel drill bits? dowel plate?

Betcha in two or three years you is gonna add another layer!

In the meantime, enjoy the organization!

Thanks for the kind words, guys! John, it sure does help. Eric, I hate to admit it, but I was regretting the size 10 minutes after I got the stuff all into it. The pins and bits are in the box spaces to the left side as viewed from the front.
