I saw someone else making these and thought it was a great idea. I can’t remember who it was but if you see this post I appreciate the idea. It’s jatoba wood with a quarter screwed to the bottom. Nice quick fairly simple project that I’m positive the recipient is sure to enjoy!

I was thinking about doing a hole for hanging as well. I asked the wife if she thought I should and she thought it was a good idea too. Guess I’ll have to drill one more holeto call it done.

Quarters? Aren’t washers less costly?
It used to be frowned on to deface U.S. currency. But that was when I was a kid … looong ago.
Still a cool idea though.
I’m with Dustyal with the hole, if it ain’t hangin’ it’s in the way on my bench … :)
