Just in time for Christmas. I’ve been working on this project for more than two months now, off and on. Mostly off. The wife started putting a little pressure on me to get it done for Christmas but the last thing we want to do is hurry a project. that’s a sure fire recipe for mistakes. But anyway a couple of late nights in the shop got it done. The wood is red oak with red oak stain. Minwax wipe on satin poly for the finish. The top is an inch and a quarter thick strips on edge then glued up. I can’t buy 6/4 stock, just too expensive. One big drawer and four adjustable shelves. I used black smoke glass for the doors with a nice effect. This is the first time I used smoke glass and I was worried that the remote signal for the electronics in side wouldn’t pick up the signal but everything works fine. Thanks for checking out my work. Denis

Denis—- Nice design … looks terrific.

You are a little ahead of me. I am working on a similar project for my daughter … started out to be a Christmas present, but it looks like it will be a birthday (January) gift instead.

Very nice. I’m contemplating something similar. (It’s #137 on my list of projects.)

I also need to make one just about like that. Seems pretty popular.

Awesome TV stand.
My wife put in a request for a TV stand but I don’t have a Christmas deadline. I hope the one I build comes out as nice as yours did.
