Hello everyone!
Ultimate Mobile Clamp & Wood Rack:
I just Moved into my new wood shop and have had stuff all over the place! Clamps and lumber just laying around being tripped on. So I new I was going to build a lumber rack and was going to make a rack for all my clamps. But where was I going to build it in the shop and how big and so on you know the process!!!

So I started looking all over the internet for ideas and it took a few weeks but I found nothing I liked so I started drawing up some plans of my own. After another week or two I was getting what I wanted. I came up with this plan that would be on casters and mobile. A plan that would hold not only my wood but would also hold all my clamps. And when I needed to move it I could and get it out of my way for larger projects.

So this is what I came up with and made a PDF for any of you that might want to make it. I have made a link to the video that I took of me making it for you to watch and help see the steps in a how to.
Check the Video out and tell me what you think! Also a link is on the video info for the PDF if you want it free.

This is a great clamp/wood rack. I envy the space you have and this works well in it. Good job. For those of us who are not so fortunate space wise you might want to check out this:

You made a nice clamprack and also a nice video. I was a little bit disappointed that your wife was so short on the screen ;)

Dutchy,
Thanks for the comment. My wife was the one doing the camera work and is camera shy :-)

One heck-of-a clamp rack. You’re shop looks very spacious for such a rack.

Thank you Austin for this great project. This is something I’ve been wishing to have, but did not know how to go about it. I built a half size version of your design today! I had so much fun and can’t wait to find another shop improvement project. I have not posted pics because I’m not sure if it is allowed since it was your design and not mine. Anyway, thank you, thank you!
