Top is a 1.25” thick debarked slab of walnut. Legs are made of mahogany sliced in 1/8 of an inch and cold bend in a form. Finnish with shellack and water base poly. The legs are shaped very nicely but the design compromises the stability of the table because there is too much flex on the legs. Next table will have shallow bends.

Beautiful design, and yes it does look unstable.

Nice find on the top. and a great implementation.

Blessed holiday to you Ze’ev.

It may be a bit unstable but it is a treat to look at. I love the top!

Beautiful! Too bad about the stability. The next one will be perfect.

Awesome looking table, stability, it’s over rated. Artist impression, that’s where it’s at. I certainly love the big bow ties you have and their color. Excellent project. Added to my favorites, like fourth project today. It’s like people sure make awesome projects here. I’ve got like 300 favorites.

Very nice design. Wondering if you can reinforce the legs with additional legs glued to the existing ones; maybe a different color wood to create a contrast.

A beautiful piece of work you’ve created here, with an interesting combination of elements.
