A walnut and Ambrosia Maple jewelry box. Gloss lacquer finish with lift out tray lined with red felt. Brass hinges which hold the lid just past 90 degrees so no additional chain or stop is required. Approx size is 13×8 x 5” Box is supported on four small wooden feet. In this project the wood was chosen for a classic feel and statement.

Great wood choices and nicely finished. Love the treatment of the lid and the way it opens.

You built a very nice box. The mitered corners are nice and tight. Material choice and finish are sweet.
