Stone centerpiece for sculptures or vases

Project by savannah505 posted 446 days ago 433 views 1 time favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

By now, most who know me, also know I work in stone also. I saw some of the sculptures and vases that some of the members are doing, and thought how cool it would be to make trivets (centerpieces) for such things to be displayed on. So here are two of them, and tomorrow should post pictures of another that is really wild. RJ in California is getting the more sculpted one of these two. If any of you are interested in these or any other style for showing your work on, let me know.

Those are really great looking trivets Dan. They really would make nice bases for displaying things on. I have several square cut pieces, but nothing that elegant. Thanks for sharing.

Dan-
Those are very nice looking. The gentle curves and shapes make me think of water flowing.

Thanks for posting

When I first looked at this project I thought it was a picture of a stingray. Very nice and unique.

Looks like RJ got a really sweet display base…I also thought it was a sea creature at first glance : )
