Another Step-Stool added to my repertoire. Have been making these for several years for grandchildren and step-grandchildren. This one is for a neighbor’s baby who is a few months from being able to stand on it but she should be able to hand it down to her children and grandchildren.

Made from some old 4/4 cherry with her name inlaid with some spalded pecan. Base is as wide as possible for stability and attached to the seat with pocket screws.

Looks nice Carl! The pecan is a good offset color :-)

That pecan wood is from the batch that you gave me… I just resawed it down to 1/4” for the name.. I still have a bunch of it left..
