Hello

A friend is playing in a rock band and I want to offer him an original christmas gift

So I dicided to make two picj=ks for him

I hope he will like them and the sound will be good !!!!!!

It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll

Good idea, Jack ! What species of wood did you used ? Did you apply any finish ? If so, it must be hard. I should try one of these some day.

I use ash wood ( I hope it’s the good traduction : FrĂȘne in french)

Thanks, Jack. Ash is a good choice. I’m sure it’s hard enough since baseball bats are made from it. And I do have some ash ! :)

I made some last year from walnut and padauk (each, not together), they had a nice warm sound. I’m sure your friend will love them.
