Apparently my girls have been so nice to the fairies that moved in, the fairies have invited their friends to move in as well!
A new door has been discovered. And a note has been left at the first door that reads:
“Thank you for the gift. You have been so nice to us, we have invited our friends to move in as well.”
Apparently the fairies in the new fairy door prefer a room with a view as this door is located a few steps up from the original.
It looks like this door is constructed of Jatoba with a Cherry frame and finished with Boiled Linseed Oil.

This is a great door and I love the location!!! Great thinking, Fairies!
Have the girls found it yet? What do they think?

The girls haven’t found this one yet. Of course they are still in bed too!
My girls love the fairy doors Frank. The other night I found my youngest laying in the dark hallway in front of the first door with a flashlight trying to find a way in!
My seven year old likes to do crafts. She left a very small clay sculpture in front of the fairy door the other day.

I’m not sure that a bigger version would be needed for “grown up kids”.
I think a person just need to be young at heart!

Hmmm, this post just opened my eyes to the fun opportunities for my daughter to explore fairie doors. I think I am going to have to try them out and see her reaction. Thanks for the revelation.

that would be interesting to see how far the fairies travel and if they go from door to door, traveling around the world!

perhaps we could get a little help from Tim and see if we can get a Fairy Door Map similar to the traveling box of pens!
