Here is a toybox shelf I found in an old magazine. It is held together mostly with sliding dovetails. I made it out of white oak and it is finished with two coats of Minwax golden pecan stain and 3 coats Minwax semi gloss poly. It is 20” deep at the bottom, 30” wide and about 44” tall.

I like the sliding dovetails. The finish looks very nice: I wish the pictures were bigger to show more details.
