This is the first cutting board I have made since 8th grade shop class 32 years ago. It is made of Walnut, Cherry and Ambrosia Maple. It is 12” X 14” and is 3/4” thick. I just made a face grain board since this is my first one and I will try and make an end grain next time. I am going to add rubber feet, so I am trying to figure out which side to make the top. I think the first picture. Any thoughts are welcomed. Thanks for looking.

I agree, the first picture would make a nice top.

That’s the hardest part…which side is the top…I have this problem with every cutting board. I’m not sticking my neck out, it’s your call. Either way, it’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with all of us LJ’s.
