Mrs Airframers Wooden Runes...

My wife’s sister’s boyfriend wanted a set of rune stones for Christmas. I guess I have had an influence of some sort on her because she decided to make them for him instead of buying a set.

Made from some fallen wood (unknown species) I cut the branch into disks for her and she hand sanded them all smooth and burned the rune onto the disk (first time wood burning.. she did pretty darn good). Then I finished them with some BLO and wax buffed with a buffer wheel on my drill press and then hand buffed afterwards to clean them up.

I told her she should open an account and post this as her first project but she requested I do it instead so all props go to her really.

These are in the mail and hopefully the recipient is happy with them. I think they came out great!

Thanks for looking!

Reel her in slowly now that you set the hook.

Maybe get her a tool. One that she will accept at first but will quickly want to upgrade to a better one. ;)
