This is my 4th Christmas as a woodworker and I’m scaling back….....The last 3 were marathon builds and this year was just an easy glide…...

6 clocks, I always hum Coldplay when building clocks…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d020hcWA_Wg

All the clock faces are Curly Maple. Frames are various hardwood flooring scraps. Just mixed and matched. The little back panels are held on with raw earth magnets…...just in case someone peeks in the back. Brass rod to suspend the Curly Maple in the frame…

Finish is 3 coats of spray Lacquer and a Beall wood buff process….

Fun build, I took my time…..... :)

Thanks for looking…

Jeff I kicked on the song while I looked at your work.
It fits.
The suspension is a great touch. Appreciate the present hour … Sit and hear your own breathing and look out on the universe and be content … One does not have to do something to pass the time; time can pass by itself

Hey Fernando – get it together….we want to see some projects! Thanks for stopping…..

Barb – appreciate it!

Waho – box joints were done on the router table with the Incra fence, which is pretty simple once you’ve done a few…..thanks!

Thanks Shawn…..I actually bought 3 boxes full of clock parts from a lady on Craigslist for $50…....I have more clock parts then I know what to do with…...except for the little retaining nuts that secure the movements to the face…she seemed to leave those out of the assortment. I’m having a tough time figuring out where to buy a quantity of them…..

Otherwise, I would imagine Klockit would be a good source for this stuff…..but there are many others as well..

Great Job Jeff!! I like this quite a bit, I may have to borrow some of your design for something in the future if you don’t mind
