This box has been a long time coming. I did the inlay about a year ago and wrote up a blog about how I did it. You can find it here
The inlay in in Mahogany banded with Bocote and Sassafras. The box itself is made of Bolivian Rosewood. I am still debating lining it with cedar.

I remember this one.
It was fun following your steps with the inlay.
It turned out great. I think the inside looks nice the way it is.

Maybe just a piece of fabric on the bottom. I haven’t done that in a while. The inlay was a lot of fun, I am looking forward to having time to do another one here soon.
