When I started woodworking the idea was to have a bench I could fold up when not using so I would have more room in the garage for something weird like a vehicle. I don’t think the bench has been folded up in 6 months at least.

Bench is sturdy and works great, made from 2”x4”s and OSB board and will hold well over 200lbs without any problems.

As long as it’s flat and sturdy it’ll serve your purposes. Eventually you might want a vise and dogholes, but you can do good work on a simple table like this one.

love it!! Love the idea of space savings! I may try something like this for my reloading bench!

Since I built my new bench this one was banished….to the side wall and works great when I have something that I want to paint or spray a finish on, since it is OSB it doesn’t bother me if there is glue leaking or over spray on it.

Have your say...
