I just had to try making some of these. I have Birch tree branches laying around waiting to be turned into something (lol, pun intended) so these mushrooms emerged. I am very happy with them and will perhaps make the stems a bit thinner next time. If you look closely you can see that a mouse has chewed part of the smaller one…little rodent! (not actually but that is my story and I’m sticking to it – breakage when undercutting)

A quick and fun project and people love them! I soak mine with mineral oil to keep them from cracking too bad!
