Customer bought in 2 rough pieces of unfinished diamond willow that had been kept in their family for roughly 30+ years. The willow was cut by his father, now deceased. He wanted to have 2 canes made, one for him self and wished to present the other to his brother. This was the straighter of the two, but still very dry and difficult to straighten. The other piece of willow became the ’ Black Handle Diamond Willow Cane’.

Materials
Handle – Whited Deer Antler
Wood Caps on Antler – Chilean Honey Wood
Shaft – Diamond Willow
Lee Valley Brass Cane Tip
Satin Mini-wax Finish

Wonderful cane! The Diamond Willow is gorgeous and has lots of character. Like the cool antler handle. Beautiful work!
