Its been a long time since I added a project. These are just a couple of things I have been working on lately. The box is made from cherry and spalted maple with a deer antler for a handle. The coaster set is made with a variety of different woods(maple, walnut, red oak, white oak, clear pine, cherry, padauk, and walnut). With the exception of the padauk, all the wood for these projects was harvested from our local woods. These pieces are boxed up and ready to ship to my son and his wife in Hawaii for Christmas. Thanks for taking a look.

Doug….love your coasters….just made a set for myself, so I know the work that has gone into. End grain wood is a challenge to work with but does come out nice!

very cool design for the coasters. Did you glue those all up at once or do it in steps?

Also, that box is fantastic! It looks like the sides have a slight curve to them… is that true or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
