This customer wanted his beloved Harley logo carved next to his name, and wanted something different from the logs that anyone else had, so I searched the woods and found this Walnut that had come down in the creek after a flood. The logo and name are hand carved, painted, and sanded.

All logs are salvage, meaning they came down naturally, or they are scraps from logging company leftovers.

Very nice job! I like how you angle cut the ends. Nice work on the carving as well. Do you plan on sealing It with anything?

Yes gwolfe, I sealed it with 3 coats of Spar Urethane, just didn’t have a pic of it for some reason.

That’s one gigantic name plate. Beautiful log and excellent carving!
