Merry Christmads
nativity scene Roubo style

Two years ago I wanted to make a nativity scene and sine the Roubo workbench back then was on every ones lips, I thought that Joseph needed one of these.

But then Shave was born and he took over the bench that year.
Thought still I had to show you all how it started and that this was a fine way to say Merry Christmas this year where my shop is down for restore.

Pictures:
1. Roubo bench.
2. Joseph with all the wood for the project.
3. Mortises made.
4. Enjoying the moment together.
5. Joseph getting ready for some serious woodworking.
6. The blade is sharp and the saw works.

Merry Christmas to all of you.

Best thoughts,
Mads

Simply amazing! This is one of the coolest things I have ever soon. You’re funny too. I have wanted to make a miniature plane, but that is REALLY small.

Mads, you are a special breed of crazy. I love it. This put a huge smile on my usually stoic face.

I love it Mads. You could do some fine marquetry with that little saw.
You have always been someone who could turn out great pieces in a small space.
I await the fully outfitted shoe box.

Merry Christmas.
