This cat is all about angles. I carved him to show the personality of a cat when he sees himself as the center of attention, and superior to the rest of us. I felt that the sharp angles of his body would help bring out that haughty look that cats can sometimes get. Every cat owner has seen that look. This cat is my original design carved in butternut and sealed in a beeswax mixture that brings out the highlights of his beautiful grain. He measures a little over 8” tall and 3” wide at his widest.

Very nice and the dark grain really brings out the character. Oh yes I know that look.

Very very nice Beth, beautiful lines and curves, you have captured the elegant look of a very regal kitty. A beautiful carving or sculpture in wood….excellent.

That’s a beautiful and elegant cat carving. Like the pretty grains and finish. Great job!
