I know, I know bad picture…. should have used a white background. This is a custom dyed Big Leaf Maple Burl. It really is quite pretty, it lingers from teal to a blue in color.

Very nice pattern and color! What did you use for the dye process? It’s very effective and yet not garrish. I really like the results.
