I’m proud of myself – all of this season’s boards are complete and ready for shipment out to friends and family. I had a lot of fun experimenting with patterns and species, as usual. Some of the boards that I crafted from cutoffs turned out to be the most attractive. The flag board is part of a wedding gift for a friend of mine, an Infantry officer, who’s getting married this (Army/Navy) weekend. After the wedding he’s headed out for an assignment in Japan, so hopefully the board is a nice reminder of home.

Very nice
I am liking picture #3 the best (board with knives on it). Dark, rich looking color.
Well done.

Thanks Mike,

Walnut and Maple are my favorite combo for cutting boards. The walnut takes such a great color once the oil is added.

They all look great. The woods used and patterns are attractive. They will make fantastic gifts. Great job!
