This little box was made in May 2013. Primary material is Western Mesquite. Trim is Knotty Alder. Inlaid in the top is a scrap piece of an old cutting board I made earlier of primarily Redwood, Pine and Cedar. I couldn’t keep the old cutting board – all the woods listed are soft woods – not appropriate for a real cutting board. But it was just an experiment anyway…
