Well it is time to post these boxes for my daughters and daughters-in-law. A total of eight of them in various wood combinations. The ones shown are Curly Cherry w/ Curly Maple and Red Oak w/ Black Walnut. Others not shown were Red Oak w/ White Oak, Cherry w/ Maple, and Black Walnut w/ Red Oak. Made all eight at the same time so my shop was full of boxes everywhere.

All comments are welcome and as always Thanks For Looking!!

I’m betting you will be a big hero in the family for these. Wonder if you are picking who gets which one or if they will fight over them. That curly wood piece is gorgeous. I want that one! Nice work Chuck. I would like to have seen what you did with the drawers inside. I’m needing to make something like this for the gals in my family and am seeking ideas for features and functionality.

It’s an unusual design done very nicely out of beautiful wood.

Very nice!!!! I made one of these for my wife two or three years ago, it was a fun project. The designs allows you to be very creative in the wood choices.
