I have just posted a new project I have had on the back burner for a few years. With spring coming I decide to take the time to update on the Erhu Legend. Joe Dillett was the one who started calling my at the time Gnome homes an Erhu Ohm. He did up a little story about them and now I have continued where he left off and made a mini book called The Legend of the Erhu. The book tells the story of the Erhu Ohms an how such little creatures can survive in the forest. The book will be sent with each Ohm home purchase so I am hoping it will make it fun for the customer to have. It’s been a fun project and I hope it will give customers a fun attitude in their own gardens. I am also making up birdhouse kits for others to carve. So if your bored…please check out my updated link below. Thanks for reading.

Cathy – these are wonderful and I love that there is a Legend behind your creations!

Your work must truly be prized by those that have the honour of having them adorn their backyards.

I’ve never heard of it, but it’s neat looking.

your carving is beautiful, mythical and neat. Having spent my entire long life in the “forest primeval” I personally know that there are many unique beings out there. It is pleasing to see someone else with a vision.

neat job.

Very nice Krum,
These Lumberjocks aren’t from “Da Range”, so they don’t know all the ethnic backgrounds like the people from “Da Range.” LOL

Gorgeous, Krum!

Would it be possible to see some tighter shots showing off some details? I’ll visit your site as well. Thanks for sharing.

you are VERY creative!! and skilled.

It seems like you could just keep looking and looking, each time finding a new piece of carving in the piece.

So very nice!!!

Happy that you all enjoyed the Erhu Ohm home! I love being able to just create. Carving something like this keeps me open. I have a hard time doing things the same. Which I find myself I can’t do anyways…I keep fiddling….but that’s the way I carve. Thanks again!

Very nice Krum, I hope the wife don’t see it. She buys birdhouses like I buy tools. jockmike
