Shut The Box Game

A few weeks ago I saw Steve Ramsey's video where he made a shut the box game. I had never heard of the game before but it looked like a cool quick project. I made mine using pallet wood. This summer I founda pallet with some cherry slats. I made the inlay and the flippers out of a scrap piece of sapele leftover from earlier projects. I finished it with 5 coats of spray lacker. This was the first time using spray lacker, I think I found my new favorite finish. My 5 year-old son and I had a ball playing the game tonight. Thanks for looking.

Looks great. I watched the video too…never heard of the game, but looks like a fun project.

You did a great job on the build and extra points for material. It’s a don game. Enjoy.
